Do you really have to?

by Giovanni on January 11, 2012 · 0 comments

What if you dropped everything you “have to” do and started only doing things you’re inspired to do?

I’ll bet you’d still be inspired to take care of everything you care about.

Imagine that.

In-profile or out-of-profile?

by Giovanni on January 10, 2012 · 0 comments

How often do you feel overwhelmed?

If it happens more than once or twice a week, you’re probably living out of profile.

What does that mean?

Well, in personality profiling, when you’re living in profile, you’re using your natural strengths the way they’re intended.

Giving your greatest gifts to the world.

When you work this way, it feels effortless. You access your flow state. Your greatest work comes through you, as if you’re channeling it.

When you’re out of profile, you’re trying to turn your weaknesses into strengths. This is an uphill battle.

Most of the advice we get in our lives is to be better at our weaknesses.

Of course, when we do that, we’re not putting our energy into using and developing our natural strengths.

The Like Minds Lounge

by Giovanni on January 8, 2012 · 4 comments

As a professional personality profiler, I’ve been noticing for a long time that there’s special group of people in the world.

A group of people who self-identify as big thinkers and lifelong learners. You might call them trailblazers. Carl Jung called them intuitives.

They are a silent minority.

They’re about 28% of the population. Since intuitives are a minority, we sometimes feel alienated in a world full of people who are detailed-oriented and pragmatic.

You may find that every once in a while you fall into a deep, profound conversation with someone else who happens to be an intuitive like you.

As intuitives, these conversations meet a core need of ours.

The need to zoom out. To communicate in pattern recognition. To focus on the abstract, the conceptual and the hypothetical. To share insights and paradigm shifts.

It occurred to me a long time ago that intuitives needed a place to communicate with each other because no one else understands.

That place is called the Like Minds Lounge and you can join it now for free by clicking the button on this page:

Okay, here we go…

by Giovanni on January 7, 2012 · 8 comments

A lot of people were after me to start a blog, so I started this one. Halfheartedly.

And now, a lot of people have been asking me to shoot more video, but that’s a bit of a challenge for me right now.

So I thought, “What about my blog?”

All of a sudden, posting on my blog has become a high priority for my mission, which is to help facilitate the next wave of the human potential movement.

I want to put you in touch with the smart people and great ideas that I come into contact with every single day.

Examples of people who are living lives of purpose and abundance, with a heavy dose of paradigm shifts and insights from me too.

So, if you’d like to get something brief from me (usually shorter than this post), click the button over to the right that says “Connect using Facebook.”

Every time I post to this blog, you’ll get it in your inbox.

Also, make sure you click Like on my Facebook page. I’ll link to new blog posts there too.

One more thing – feel free to let me know what you’d like me to talk about. Use the Comments below, or post on my Facebook page.

Let’s go change the world!

P.S. If you’re a big thinker/lifelong learner, and you’re not already a member of the Like Minds Lounge… what are you waiting for, an invitation?

Okay, you’re invited. =) Just click the big button on this page:

What is manifesting…?

by Giovanni on July 27, 2011 · 12 comments

Manifesting is nothing really.

It’s just an ideavirus. A perspective. It’s a way to think about how to get things done.

There are some people who have the perspective of hard work. That in order to get things done, you have to work hard. I’ll call these people Hard Workers [click to read on…]

I live a charmed life…

Most of my business career, I’ve been the man behind the curtain (or, more likely, playing Frisbee on the beach). I had to go through quite a bit of introversion to process some powerful shifts I’d experienced.

But now, I’m really enjoying being more extraverted at this new phase of my life.

I get to meet amazing people who are either top thought leaders or up-and-coming thought leaders and have fascinating conversations with them about [click to read on…]

From a client (part 2)…

Yesterday I shared with you a text I got from my client Rob Valente, who’s a “health guru to the health gurus.”

He did one of my advanced personality profiling sessions about a week ago and he had some really nice things to say about where it landed for him.

After I posted that, he texted me more. It brought tears to my eyes, so I really wanted to share it with you [click to read on…]

The Selfish Way to Save the World

by Giovanni on June 3, 2011 · 2 comments

My friend Jason just mentioned on Facebook that “a man risked his life to see you speak and felt it was worth every moment.”

That’s actually true, strangely enough. He even checked himself in to the hospital right after he left, where I’m sure they put his oxygen mask on for him. (Watch the video if you don’t get the joke.)

Everything turned out fine, thankfully, and I’ll be enjoying dinner tonight with him.

I hope you get as much from my first TEDTalk as he did.
